Vaccines against disease fall into three categories.
1. Vaccines for childhood diseases:
Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis (whooping cough), Haemophilus influenzae B infection (Hib), Polio and Meningococcal Infections.
2. Vaccines for adults who are at risk of certain diseases:
Influenza, Hepatitis B, Pneumococcal Pneumonia.
3. Vaccines for those travelling abroad:
Hepatitis A, Typhoid Fever, Yellow Fever, Hepatitis B, Rabies, Japanese Encephalitis, Meningococcal Infections and Tick-borne Encephalitis.
